so i tried my friends bud and it was too dame much,i was high for a long time,i couldn't remember what i did after smoking it.

there are a lot of varieties of bud,Afgani,Purple Haze...ect

i wanted to know,as a Beginner which one should i smoke.
i don't want to get real high,just want to chill and be mellow for 2-3 hours.
be stress free.

you have to build up a tolerance or it... doesnt matter what kind it is if it was grown well then its gunna get you stoned!

What did you use to smoke? I like to smoke little joints and take small puffs... I've noticed that the high is not as overwhelming with joints as it is with my pipe or a bong. Weed grown outdoors is also milder, in my experience (probably because outdoor plants usually have seeds, so the plant uses more energy for producing seeds rather than producing THC)

Indicas are also said to be more body high oriented :smokin:, versus sativas which really go straight to the dome :stoned::stoned::stoned:

Go to your dispensary and ask them for a bud that is less potent. Also sounds to me like you smoked a heavy indica strain, mabey try a Sativa, sometimes people dont like the stone and just the high, some describe sativas to do that. For me I like the stone and the high.

I'm surprised nobody suggested merely smoking one or two hits of killer, waiting a while to see how it affected you and smoke more accordingly..

If thats the case, load one hitter bowls, and toke like that. I have recently started to load nothing but one hitter bowls(or probably a good two hitter bowl for most), even when company is over. I have enough glass bowls so it is not a big deal. but with a one hitter bowl everyone gets that nice taste of greens when they hit. Every one gets the first toke, and every one still smokes the same amount. But it is much more pleasant this way. I load about five one/two hit bowls and just keep em in the bong cabinet, so when its 420 time, I just go into the cabinet put some water and ice into what ever glass piece I am going to smoke out of , and light it up. When doing this it is much easier to keep your pieces clean too, But you must have at least 2 different pieces for this to work, you cant clean and smoke at the same time. works out good

they are just new feelings, getting too stoned is not going to kill you, it just takes time getting used to. i live my whole life that way, being sober for me is the way you feel when you are "too stoned"
