Nto sure if this was asked, but what is the air purifier supposed to do for the plants?

The answer: To keep the air in the room in which the plants are growing in as clean as possible when fresh air isn't coming in. It's kind of like why some people vaporize instead of smoke...same air, just a hell of a lot cleaner.
