In Viginia they have medical avialable. It does miricales for some people suffering from MS. yes it is know to help people in your condition. If anything you are out the money it takes to get your medical. I hear people suffering from MS like the Indica strains alot, so go to your despencary and ask for a strong indica for pain, I recommend bluberry or bubblegum, both strong Indicas, I am sure they have northernlights, so if they got none of the berrys get some northernlights.

Dont you hate when Drs blow you off,I thought they took an oath to help people not line there pockets with money from pharmaceutical companies. Sorry about rant just pisses me off when good people cant get good care. There are some good Drs out there so check for referals anywhere you can.I agree with mad as to type of strains to start with also try different ways of consuming product baked goods, vapor, etc.sometimes they give you a different result than smoking. Good luck with your quest I wish you the best peace

Yes, it will help. The effects of cannabis on MS is one of the most studied aspects of MMJ. I collect medical studies (click the link below) and share them. Here is a sample that I know you will find "good reading"!
Cannabis May Halt Progression Of Multiple Sclerosis

Therapeutic Aspects of Cannabis and Cannabinoids

Those are just 5 of the most recent studies on MS- there are many more. Please share them with your doctors (the mail can be anonymous.). Most US doctors know about ZERO when it comes to MMJ. WE have to educate them.
I have an online friend, Emma, who has MS. She says it really helps. She was using "Northern Lights" last time I checked. I'm sure others will chime in to give you more encouragement and advice.

Welcome Mom. I''m so very sorry you have MS.
I hear any(?) most(?) purples are great for muscle spasms. I've experienced relief myself for Restless Leg with Purple Urkle.
I take cannabis for: Fibromyalgia, restless leg syndrome, migraines, stomach pain and nausea from (idiopathic) gastro-paresis (slow stomach).
It has greatly improved the quality of my life, functionality, attitude.
