i need help...
ok sooo my doctors a lazy ass... I've been into her office on multiple account to get my knee's checked out because i took a big ass spill 3 years ago and my knee was swollen for about 3 months my mom wouldn't let her prescribe me anything because she didn't want me to get addicted to vicodin and my dad already had a big ass stock of ibprofen. we got x-rays done but nothing showed up
. ok so recently i went back to the doctor to see about doing something about my other knee which i injured at a concert in early feb ( Nofx anniversary show:thumbsup: ) and for depression and anxiety attacks. the problem is her stupid ass told me to loose weight and i don't think she wrote a dam thing down... soo what do you think are the chances of me getting my mmj card? i also have asthma but i haven't gotten a prescription for it in years

You are old enough your mom should not be in the exam room with you when you go see the Dr. You may want to express that at the Dr. office when she is not present and ask them to politely excort her to the waiting room and tell her it is the policy.--they come up with all kinds of reason to protect your Hippa rights! Get that prescription and it will show you are definitely in pain, have your records transferred to a Dr. listed on Norml or MAPP for more info.
Granny 'Storm Crow' has many posts with every suggestion you could possibly use. I am sure others have some as well. Good luck to you--I know how much pain knees can be. Usually, not everything shows on an X-ray. You may need an MRI to really find out what is going on with your knee. On that note. If you do go back to the doc, tell her you intend to push your Dr. for more tests, even if you have to get a little pushy and you'd prefer your mom not be present in the exam room. Whatever it takes, to get her out and get the treatment you need. "Chronic Pain" and believe me bud, you are gonna have it with your knees time in and out of life. Be more careful with your knees from now on! In 25 years when you think "total knee replacement" you will dream you were more careful! I know!
Good luck to you and I am sure you'll have other responses. Your biggest problem, I see is. Acquisition, since it is pretty expensive and I doubt your Mom will let you grow-which is what you will need to do. PR :hippy:

I'm guessing your mom takes you to her doctor...on her insurance? Am real curious how old you are, if your mommy refuses treatment on your behalf.
Next time you attempt to bullshit your mommy and a medical professional, (and us) do your homework, first. You might want to get your story right by your next appointment, as I doubt mommy will fall for this too often. But be careful...once your mom knows what you're up to...your relationship will never be the same.
Deciept and manipulation tends to destroy trust.
