first grow, CFL question...probably really stupid

Walmart or home depot/lowes have all kinds of light fixtures for cfls. A lot of people here buy the shop light with reflector and clamp, and then Y socket splitters. Then you can buy two of the clamp fixtures, two Y socket splitters, and 4 bulbs (each should be at least 42w or more, IMO) That will get you started, but if you want bigger nugs, just add another clamp light. There is a guy here running 400w of cfls... not equivalent, but actual wattage, and his nugs are as big as people's with HID lamps.

Thanks, I had been checking all their websites and couldn't find anything like what I need. I figured if I went to the store I would though.

I'm be heading to Walmart in an hour or so to cash a check and buy soil so I will see what they have.

What's the outlet/socket called and where can I get them? I just need 3 outlets to screw the cfl's into. I'm looking for ones you just plug into a normal outlet not hardwired. I'm just going to be single plant micro grow, I have 4 seeds getting ready already because I thought I had a light fixture that was going to work but I can't find it. Thanks Rating: 5
