Any UK Outdoor growers?
Hey Rob
Thinking about it big time. I posted a thing here asking someone to recommend a good hardy outdoor strain that will cope with the UK weather alright but got nothing back.
what you thinking? I've got a few locations in mind (whilch I'll keep hush if you dont mind!) but still dont know what strain to go with....and time is approaching.
Let me know if you reach a conclusion

Any UK Outdoor growers?
Hi guys
I did a grow in 2002 in a green house outdoors. I live south Uk and that year the weather was very kind. Frost didnt come until very end of September and we took them down a few days before. Very successful, very enjoyable.
2 x Shiva Shanti's and a little bag seed baby I found on a friends roof garden. Turned out to be a pure looking Shiva.
I used Canna Coco planting substrate and Canna Coco veg & flower nutes. 7 &.5 litre pots.
They got real big and we had to tie down the Shiva Shantis near the end to avoid bud rot setting in from the condensation build up in the g'house.
Have a go. You got nothing to lose, only something to gain.

Purple strains are supposed to do very well in the UK climate due to early finishing time. Im considering an outdoor grow myself this year, Im hoping to get a polythene greenhouse next month. Ive got some SK#1 and some SK#1xDurban to do also, hopefully they will be ok in the greenhouse even of there is a little frost. As mistysantamaria said, "Youve nothing to lose".

I've grown Afghani and Northern lights outside before. They both grew surprisingly well, the rain or cold did not stop them. The Afghans turned a weird purple colour because of the cold. I also grew skunk #1 but with it being sativa dominant it did not do very well at all. It was nowhere near maturity when it started going mouldy. It was mostly stems anyway and about 6 feet tall; it couldn't cope with the low light levels.

Hello Robert
well I have grown an outdoor crop when I first started and it didn't do to badly
The seeds I used were Mexican Staiva and Rudderails x Indica http://www.sensiseeds.com/ml/shop.as...ev=3&SubLev=16
It is a short growing season I started them at the mid April and harvested at the begining of October if I remember rightly
