I definitely agree with the post about CFL's and the fact that they should be close but I think you can grow at least the first few weeks with the purple grow lights. I have a plant that is just breaking the surface with only two purple grow lights. They say they are grow lights so I assume those are the correct ones, not the ones to ditch? Anyway in your case put the purple lights basically right on the plants because from my experience they do not get hot barely at all. Good Luck, hit us with some pictures soon:rasta:
BigLeagueJew Reviewed by BigLeagueJew on . growing with little light ok i am growing with 2-48inch grow lights and 2 cfls. i currently have 2 plants which by the way are about 1 week into flowering and are females. im wondering has anyone used the smae amount of light and how well was the yield. the reason im using such small amount of light is because i have limited space and not so much spending money. i would appreciate any advice.
