you asked for it dude D:

you're plant is weak and looks only a week old, thats cause of that crappy light. My advice is to do what you've decided get that HPS up

CFLS work too and promote lots of growth and produce buts, just about half the speed as HPS (is that fair everyone? me thinkso)..

Anways good luck with it, looking good so far man.

Hey man I have been there, set up your new lite and let this plant get use to it for a few days. Then I would transplant it and bury it down a little bit so you dont have that much stem blowing in the wind. If it doesnt start turning around you can always try again. The picture of your plant does only look like its 1 week old with alot of stretch due to poor lighting but ya gotta start somewhere. Good luck and try not to get frustrated. Peace

Yes, be very careful with the hps. You didn't mention anything about ventilation, but hopefully you have that taken care of. Try out the light for a few hours at least before you put the plant underneath, checking overall temps. Also start with the light at about 2x the recommended distance from the plant, and gradually lower it. Should see significant results in a week. Good luck!

Your plant is way undersized. That one bulb is not doing enough. I think your OK to use that hps, just give it extra breathing space over your plants. I use an HPS on 6 day old seedlings and they do just fine.

Do somethings different, what ever your doing is not working well.

Imagine the day when you smoke the first bud off your plant. You will have the biggest shit eating grin.
