would it be better if you hung the cooltube vertically and the put a fan on it to keep it cool.then you can have the light in the middle and plant all the way around it.i dont know just something i always wanted to do.hot air does rise.

yeah there are specialised vertica cooltubes, they are made a bit differently, check them out

my one isnt't for vertical mounting but im sure they are practically the same. My ones only rated upto 600watt heheh

I think your plant is doing great keep updating. I also been thinking that would be a decent way hanging vertical. But i was thinking something like a 600w above and a 400w 0r 600w light, some where on like the side of a grow area. So it has just as much light at the bottom an middle of the plant as the top has.? Just have not really sketched out the idea yet. :rastasmoke:

is it true that a plant can only produce a certain amount of bud.like is it a shut off point as to how much a plant can produce.the reason i ask is that all my budsites are the same size from top to bottom.and if a plant is only going to produce a certain amount then that means at some point my plant is going to stop producing buds leaving me with a smaller main cola.another thing i have been reading alot about light movers well i turn my plant 4x a day as i have the shoplight mounted vertically.i was wondering has anyone tried using the christmas tree stands that spins therefore giving the plant equal amont of light all the way round(well not equal but some light).i have read alot and learned everything i know from this site yet i have just started to post being that im a newbie.but i do think i have some ideas and things i need to share and give back cause all of you have helped me and taught me to think outside the box.thank you, thank you, thank you.

I wouldn't be too worried about the yield, WW is usually pretty good about that. Plus, at only 3 weeks, you have a TON of bud growth ahead of you. There are some methods to increasing yield, but it's too late for this grow. Look into LST, SCROG (I have done/doing both, links in my sig), topping, fimming, super-cropping for your next grow. Personally I like both LST and Scrog because they are fairly low-stress, and the plants recover very quickly.

Oh yeah, I think rotating the plant 4 times a day is a little excessive... but good for you for caring for your plants! Once every couple days would suffice, though. She is getting plenty of light... If you did want to improve on something, you could try to get those walls flat white...

yeah i been wanting to paint them but i was scared that the paint may be toxic to my plant.i wonder if white poster board will work the same.yeah i was going to lst the plant but i just wanted to make sure i wasnt doing something wrong in my growing.i wanted to keep it simple on this one and get a base yield so i can keep my growing style the same then lst on the next grow see how it does.then fim and lst on the next.on my last grow which was 50/50 indoor out i lst alot i tried the going around the pot trick and it did very well in veg but when i turned the lights to 12/12 the bottom half of my plant died in two days.so i wanted to go back to the basics to see what i did wrong.i still yielded a qp of the best weed in town.i believe it was nute burn and thats what has gottin me so hands on with my plant.it really is true that the more time you spend with your plant the happier both of us will be.i have only lost 3 leaves so far this entire grow.

Yeah painting can be a pain in the ass. How about some Panda film (i think thats what its called). It's black on one side and white on the other.

yeah i was thinking about it and i will order me some mylar i midas well do it right.but ill have to wait until i harvest this one then i can move around in there.on my next grow i will try and go all out i want to try cloning.i have a rubbermaid tub so i want to put the clones in with the air stones do you think that will work with some bloom nutes?its always good to have someone to over look things and see what one is missing

Wait till harvest? Why not just take the plant out for an hour or two? Won't be a big deal... you will get more out of the mylar for 5 weeks than losing a couple hours of light, IMO.

Sorry, nothing to add about the cloning/hydro stuff. Kinda confused about putting clones in with bloom nutes (???).

it will take me about a week to get the mylar,but i just thought about it and i have some white paint but i dont know if paint is toxic to plants.how long should i wait before putting her back in, the hps should dry it up quickly.what do you think is the simpliest way to clone.i know some on this site say they just site it in a cup of water.how do you do it or have you tried yet.thanks you have helped me alot.

so i painted the walls and put her back in hope there is no problems.if i have @6875 lumens psf which is close to optimum do anyone think i can get .5 grams per watt off of one plant.
