im growing ww one plant its now in its 3 week flowing.i was wondering do i have enough lumens for my 4x4 closet i dont have mylar or white walls.the setup is soil ihave a digital600w growbright setup,dual 4'shop light with 4100k bulbs,4 23w cfls 6500k.my plant looks good to me but i really dont know cause its my first full indoor grow.my buds look really tight with white crystals all over even on some of the big fan leaves.how do you determine how mant lumens the shop light is putting out.i have been on this site for almost a year reading everyday just i have not read anything about how many lumens a shoplight puts out.thanks to everyone on this site i have really come to learn alot about this plant and how to grow on this grow i have only lost 3 leaves the entire grow.i think this is great considering my last grow which was 50/50 indoor outdoor i lost half of my plant when i turn the light to 12/12 i was only using the cfls then.and again thank you to everyone one this site.ps i really like it when people argue it lets us newbies see both sides of everything so its left up to the grower to decide whats best for them.so please stop getting on to people too hard about what they are doing to there babies it only results in us as a hole learningh about this wonderful plant

that sounds like plenty of light for one plant......600 watt HID digital light?...plus shop lights and CFL's?...you may have to put sunglasses on it.......

4 foot tubes are good for about 3,000 lumens a few INCHES from the bulb.
I'd suggest taking the shop lights, and the cfls to a different room, or make a box for them, and use that as a veg area.

Let the white widow flower under the 600hps. Unless youre growing a 4'x4' monster, the 600 will be more than enough light.

Take a few clones from the 3 week flowering plant, and put them under 24hr light in your veg area...so about a month or 2 from now you harvest, and put those clones into the flower room

...thats just a suggestion, something I would do if I were you.

i dont know if its a monster but i dont think i could get two of them in the same amont of space.i try to spin the plant around so the it kinda get even light all around the plant.i have not tried to clone as i just wont to get a good crop and see what the yield whould be.what do you think i can get off this plant as it hasbud all the way down to the leavel of soil.the plant is 38 inches tall.i dont have a good cam as this pi was take with my phone.had to stand 5' back just to get all the plant in the pic.let me know what you think

about 6875 if you have approx 110,000 lumens total

just divide the lumens by the number of sq ft then you have lumens per sq ft.

looking very good so far dude.. lots of bud sites it isn't indica is it.. looks mostly sativa.. did you mention what strain it is?

I'm using a 400 watt cooltube, they might work for you, it's my first time and my experience is great!! If you want to check my tube out its on my log...

would it be better if you hung the cooltube vertically and the put a fan on it to keep it cool.then you can have the light in the middle and plant all the way around it.i dont know just something i always wanted to do.hot air does rise.
