1. THE GIRLZ Northern Lights THEY ARE SMALL LOOK ALIL WEAK SO FAR JUST ONE IS REAL DOIN NETHING.
2. MK ULTRA lil bigger, lookin o.k
3. purple kush just got them today, lookin great
all are now in groden block 4x4
light 2-40w flouescent 1 blue 1 red about 1-1/2" from top of the highest girl
they have been under the light for 8 days.
water ppm around 300-400 ph 6-6.1 (after two tripz to the store for a damn pen that worked righ)
nuti cloex rooting solution ( i was told thats all that they would need till week 2)?

i plan to put them in sumwere around 2-3 weeks?

gt pots with controller brain
hydroton grow rocks
SPACE 9X9X9 FEET
cash is gettin tight. i need help on wht to do next, nuti,light times 12/12 or 6/18, mover for light or no? i got the girls from the only places that i could find here in S.D.

1.What kind of nutrients are you planning on using?
2.Which are you using? what size containers?
3.Describe your room... temps/humidity,distance of lighting from plant.
4.Are they clones from a mother? Or did you start from seed? That clonex stuff is rather expensive... I've only used the gel and still usually get 95-100%
5. Are you running a 1000w now? If so, what are you doing about heat? unless you have good ventilation then you will need a air conditioner.

I would suggest getting the General Hydroponics 3-part. Imho these are the best and simplest nutrients to work with and if you mix them right the ph stays about right too. Just read latewood's 3-part legacy in the hydroponic section. Another good additive is liquid karma. This works as a catalyst and really makes the plants grow more vigorously but use sparingly in the flowering phase as it makes them crank out alot of unwanted leaves.

If you can get a light mover then I highly recommend getting one. A mover will eliminate the "hotspot" that on a stationary light under the bulb. It will increase your potential growing space by about 50%. Also movers will spread light more evenly over the canopy resulting in more uniform growth. It would be especially badass if you can hook up like... 1000watt HPS, and a 600w MH both on a mover for a 4x8 space. Another good thing about movers is you can keep the light much closer to the canopy.

Btw.. Your lightcycle(photopeiod) should be 18on/6off for vegetative growth and 12on/12off for flowering. I recommend vegging for at least a month or 2 before switching to flowering if you have the room.

1. all i had to go on was, 2 years of watchin my homie fight with the whole flora line, so i got the ADVANCED NUTRIENTS : sensi grow parts a&B + f-1

2. I went with the Multi Flow Hydroponic System. two gallon pots. Multi Flow Hydroponic System - Greentrees Hydroponics mius the 55 rez -i have a 30g revz for now

3. the size is 10x11x8 there about, i walked it off. temps/humidity,distance of lighting from plant. dont know. as this will be my first grow. i still need to get the room set-up. i will go get the things i need to answer this, today.

4. ya clones, they r from a co-op here in SD. (it sucks cuz thatz all i have to go on)? i hope they r wht i was told they r. the clonex gel is the reason i got it. the gel works great. my homie tryed sumthing esle 1 time, and the babies and a hard time gettin goin.


5. no. the 1k is in the big room,with one more 1k to come. (at sum point)
the girls r under 1 40w red 1600 lumens & 1 40w blue 1900 lumenes. 1-2" for top. i have pics up on my porfile.

as for the V word (ventilation), thats is wht has been on my mind. i still have to come up with sumthing. there is a vent in the room, goin try a use it sum how. plans r for a can-fan. (at sum point) with a inline-fan(if needed).

nutrients: txz for your in sight. this is the part i have to learn. the homie did all the mixin. i just rember him get pissed-off with that line. 3 parts + plus 3 more adds it got out of hand. now that i am doin it this myself, i see that he was makin it hard on his self, and the girl. not being able to see the ppm, for the baby feeds. (no pen). i picked up a 3-1 pen to try a not burn them.

the mover is sumthing i am really stunk on. the only set-up, that i have seen was the homies, 2 4x12 trayz 2 1k light and 2 mover on a dip system. i have talk with the a few ppl sum say yes better light spread. then other say it best 2 keep the light in place. it seems to me havin 1, with 12 pot is a good idea. with money getttin tight if u had to pick 1, mover or inline-fan? which one.

lightcycle it wht point in the grow r u sayin to go 18/6? i am just gettin roots out of the 4" cubes?

questions/suggestions... plz by all means keep them comin. as i am here to learn to by the best grower i can be.

If I had to choose between a mover or a fan I would get the mover. Assuming you can fill the extra space. Make sure you have a good circulation fan and temps stay below 85*. And as far as the GH 3 part goes... mixing is very easy. 8mlGrow-8mlMicro-8mlBloom for vegetative phase(18/6) then 2mlgrow-8mlMicro-16mlBloom for the first month of flowering(12/12) and then 0mlgrow-8mlMicro-16mlBloom for the final month. This works great for me... the ph is about right and the levels are always consistent. With money being tight its really hard but if you can find a cheap mover you WILL not regret getting it.

the place that i got my gear from has a used mover, that needs to be rewired. the price is about half of new. track not included

[Nestling]

I have purchased Aurora Indica from Nivana. I had them in the fridge for 3 months until I got my hydrophonic system.
I started germination 4 days ago. Only 2 have sprouted. I am setting up the system today. I took the seedlings out of
the dark and have the other 8 in the dark on the heating pad.
I am hoping that taking the seedlings out and putting them under a light w/o heat until I get everything set up is not going to kill the seedlings. I majored in horticulture in college but never did hydro. I have a stealth bubble set up going into a small closet. If anyone can help me I would appreciate it. I have been all over this site looking for beginners info but can't find anything. I am in Illinois and there is a bill on the floor about passing the law. I am hoping they do. In the mean time I am paranoid. I have severe back pain which I will not go into here. But I could really use some help. Thanks
