I am so happy I could just wet myself, I have ten babies from bag seed, I will be happy if I get 3 females from it, and on the way from Amsterdam are my special seeds, 10 Ganja Dwarf / lowrider, and 20 pack of a nice variety of stunk and haze. I love growing weed, I have my own potent buds, and I don't have to pay $60 a 1/4 for some middes. The money saved alone is well worth the effort. Plus I pull the males, hate seedy pot, I grew two females to buds the summer before, my first time ever, and I was really amazed how easy it really was. I will keep you all updated. Love growing:hippy:

advice: don't waste your time with ruderalis, if you're going to grow, grow the real thing ... Breeding tips | Cannabis Culture Magazine (scroll down to the Ruderalis section) by D.J. Shorts, master breeder ... good luck with whatever you grow

I can't agree with that at all. I've read the article to. Saying that it's a waste of time to mess with AF strains is ridiculous. That's like assuming that everybody wants to grow bud for the same exact reasons you do.
I just want to grow them so I dont have to wait 5 months for a decent smoke. That can't hurt can it? Not everybody that grows AF strains is a breeder and wants to breed them. Not everyone wants to pump out 250g per plant of the most dank nug all the time and some ppl dont even have the resources to do so. Theres a time and place for everything.
I understand its just friendly advice but take into consideration that everybody grows for different reasons and not everyone wants the same thing.

what I really specifically meant was some people dont have the resources to do so. I read that and saw how it could be taken but just didnt bother changing. Of course, if you could why wouldn't you want to.

and of course you want to get the most out of an investment but at the same time with AF strains you don't even have to invest as much into it. You save time & money.

I would have to say clones over AF. Never grown an Af before, imagine it would be fun. How long does it take before it actually starts to flower? Clones also save time and money!

Ruderalis: myth and misnomer
As indoor growers attempted to improve their genetic lines via breeding, another interesting phenomenon occurred: Ruderalis. Although there is a wild variety identified as Ruderalis in Russia ("Ruderalis" is supposedly Russian for "by the side of the road") that grows very short and matures very fast, I seriously doubt the rumor that someone actually went to Russia to collect seeds of this variety sometime in the past. Or, if someone actually did go all the way to Russia to find, collect and smuggle "rudy" seeds, I do feel sorry for their waste of time. They could have gotten the same worthless thing from Minnesota, Saskatchewan or Manitoba with much less hassle.
Agreeable wit tha sotapop, But in the sota they is alot of Ruderalis here because rich people at one time was farming hemp. But some Ruderalis in the sota is pretty potent, But i must say that majority of it now is garbage. This has happen due to the state, when they find theses plants in big parks with woods/W/e. They pray theses plants with some kind of chemical which destroys the thc. And it also makes its seeds useless.:rastasmoke::jointsmile: But you still find some that will have you floating. "But it is hard to find but also will have its use since it is adapted to the climate here..."
