Indoor Vs. Outdoors Buds

the stuff i have been getting lately has all been amazing california buds and until today i never had any doubt that they were all grown indoors hydroponially, but today the batch i got smelled a lot different. no skunky smell at all, more of a soil smell. the buds looked identical to the others i had been getting and i had no other information about this batch but i have a feeling these are outdoor buds. they are still very sticky and im sure they have as much THC as the indoor buds, but other than the smell, is there any other negatives to outdoor buds??

i would upload a photo of the buds but like i said before, they dont look any different. i know a lot of people grow outdoors in Cali because its fuckin legal but do all outdoor buds lose their potent scents?

I believe you got a different strain, one of the traits I look for is no smell. Imagine handing a bag to someone and it doesnt smell 1 joint later to the begesus now thats something to talk about.Ever try to walk thru an airport with a skunk farting in your front pocket gets funny looks from wrong people. I hope you find both types delicious. peace

I feel properly grown outdoors, cannabis has a more complex array of scents and flavors. It is also in the growerâ??s hands how well the herb comes out. A lot of hydro growers wind up with potent weed that tastes like hay. I donâ??t believe itâ??s possible to tell 100% if bud was grown outside or in. Some of the finest herb Iâ??ve ever had the pleasure of toking was grown outside in Hawaii.

legal to grow outdoors? and you knew that all the buds you were getting indoor hydroponically grown? Haha ok man :thumbsup: tell me your ability to do this

im not getting into specifics but we have a source in CA who fedexes his shit to MPLS area

the last bag i got looked good like all the other stuff we've been getting it just smelled like dirt

more then likely a grower error, or strain, i thought you were the general dude who goes man i got some dank super fire piff stuff its obviously hydro, my apologies

also with recession and dry times, people bury their weed, but the smell still creeps into the buds, and someone dipped into their dry stash for selling
