Thanks for the quick responses. We bought a moisture meter that shows we've been badly overwatering some of the girls. Now keeping a close eye, and probably won't water several for weeks.

Think you're on to something viz the worm castings - planning some repotting back into MJR planting mix.

We both are experienced - just been 20+ years since our last grows. Seems that more recent ideas may be better ;-0. Past soil grows were to 10'-12' high at harvest - grown under lights.

Oregon legislation favors medium+ height by limiting numbers of plants in bloom. Another info source is upset over not adding nutrients - so, we'll have to explore that further.

The worm castings themselves seemed to be the reason for ph levels over 7.0 - the MJR mix runs 6.0-6.5. Obtained cheap ph meter to arrive at those values, and check our growing plants that average 7.1 in their current soil.
