Putting Strawberries in a jar of mildew-smelling cannabis?

I got an oz. of some good-looking chronic, but it smells somewhat mildewy.

It was pretty moist when I got it and I dried it a bit further. The smell + taste improved slightly, but not much. I know about the citrus fruit peel idea (though that's usually used to moisten, rather than improve the smell, but I've heard it also improves the scent and taste) but I don't have any oranges or other citrus.

I have lime juice I was using for margaritas, though...

Anyway, is it a bad idea to put a small slice of strawberry into a large tupperware container across from the ganja?

Will it help with the mildewy scent?

Let me rephrase this: Has anyone done this and had positive results?

    Thanks for any feedback.

I be talking to that guy you got it form about that wetness brother, for real.

How long have you been drying it? Could take up to a month or better for a good cure. Sounds like your buddy was anxious to make some money and couldn't dry his weed out properly.

Um, yeah. It is a bad idea. Did your buddy tell you to do this, the same guy that you got the weed from. That's a good way to grow some mold. If it smells like mildew, then it is likely got some rot. Time to make some oil or hash.
I have read and heard of people doing similar things to add moisture back, but it sounds like the moisture is already a problem.
I would not have gotten it to begin with. If it's not dried properly, then you just paid for an ounce, that is likely 65-75% water, after it dries, you may have a little more than 10 or so grams, not such a great deal if you ask me, not to mention the rot. Let's see it.

haha an..interesting point .. I've had weed like this, try fast drying it, xbox360 works marvelous, i've been both told and experienced the drying, takes minutes.CRAZY.

some old CRT's do a good job too.
