I found studies all over the internet indicating that it takes 30 days max to ride your self of THC and its left over. The only sites stating a longer time frame were sites advertising detox hoaxes. So sites that could make money off the paranoia had listed longer detection times and sites that referenced scientific studies always say 24 hrs to 30 days, but no more than 30 days. I guess if you are very inactive and have allot of fat it could last over 30 days. But seriously this 90 day thing is crap. I think if people have failed tests of any kind after even 30 days they have been smoking or are around others who are. The whole thing pisses me off. Weed in not bad, booze is bad. I am from Canada and I feel for you in the USA. You government has no mercy when it comes to weed. I mean you people get test for everything. And if you are caught you are tested way more. Think of the people making the profit. I think that is why they do it.

Yes, those detox potions are a big scam. Their makers tend to make any claim in the world in order to woo in the credulous and taking their cash.

However, its not uncommon for longtime heavy smokers to take up to 60-90 days to finally test negative. Actually, the longest ever reported was 105 days. This person was a heavy user for many, many years, weighed in on the wrong side of 375 pounds, and indulged in zero physical activity.

I think if people have failed tests of any kind after even 30 days they have been smoking or are around others who are.

People failing urine tests because they have smoked. You cannot test positive on the basis of secondhand smoke.

I'm laid off and put on a lot of weight in the last 4 months and consider myself in the fat ass range. I'm 50s, 5ft 9in, 260 and bought and smoked by the gram. About 3 grams a week.

I test myself about every 30 days when I'm clean and I been clean 75 days and retested after 69 days last week and I could light up a room with the positive line. The only way to know for sure is test yourself.

There are a lot of people here who have posted there results and some have taken over 90 days to get clean. I'm sure it would take me atleast 60 but I dgo the synthetic urine route so I don't give a shit.

I'm 6'1" and weigh 245lbs. I eat too much fast food and I don't go to the gym more than 5 times a month and that in some way justifies the $40/month I waste.

The point is I tested positive for 72 days after I quit in December 2007. Then I only weighed 210 and drank way more beer.

A few of us have said that were older and overweight but if you have read anything in this section you would see over and over that everyone is different and the only way to know for sure is to buy test strips and test yourself. You have 10 posts here and your dwelling on a point that most of us know don't matter in the real world. Theres no way of knowing how long a person takes to get clean without testing yourself so if you have a point make it.

If your saying you can get clean in that short of time and you tested yourself then ok, we have no reason to doubt you because it is possible. But if your going to post fact sheets off the internet to convince us did you even notice that the dates on those findings go back to the 80s and 90s. Do you know what we were smoking back then compared to the quality of weed today. If you convince one person that your right and he should believe you and he fails a employment or probation test what are you going to say, sorry

I have a friend who took 40 days to test clean.

This friend is pretty large, but very active. Heavy smoker though (1/8 a day for awhile)
