So back in highschool i never smoked and I had terrible grades. They were so bad that i couldn't make it into university and had to go to college first. throughout college i never smoked and i found that my grade average was around 70% (the bare minimum to go from college to university) Throughout the first semester of university my grades averaged around 65%. From the next semester on i started smoking weed while studying and found that my grade average boosted to 80%. And ever since then my average has been getting higher and higher(not meant to be a pun). Now im doing a masters in engineering averaging higher than ever.

Even though i was able to do the assignments, they took me 3x longer than when i was sober. But, i found i caught a lot of my mistakes from second guessing myself, which generally would give me a better understanding of the subject in hand. When sober, i really didn't give a shit and didn't overlook anything because i couldn't stand sitting for so long.

I never smoked during exams or midterms, and the reason is stated above. I work so much slower!

But now, i know many engineering jobs require drug tests because they hire you. So i know i need to quit, and I want to quit, but i really don't want to risk failing out.

But anyway, i don't think weed makes you more intelligent. I think it really just gives you the ability to sit down and look at the subject more in depth than you would if you were sober.

And to anyone who smokes and studies, try taking the same amount you would put in a joint and smoke it over an hour or 2 with a pipe instead of all at once. You won't get as high, but you'll find you can concentrate more on the subject at hand since your not completely off your rocker.
