Cannabis improves intelligence??
i totally agree with delta9, i write/record songs and do alot of 3d animation etc, and weed is my fuel! I've recorded stuff when I was sober and it's just not the same. what's really interesting is how different weed brings out different feelings in my music. alot of my stuff sounds like some bluesy floyd, but a couple of weeks ago I got some shit that made me write a death metal song. I swear it was the weed!

For some it does help, like people who have trouble sitting still. Some friends I have though have smoked themselves retarded.

Cannabis improves intelligence??
When I smoke a lot, my body takes over. I did a presentation the other week and caught myself not even paying attention to what was happening, just talking. Not even knowing what I was saying, just talking to these professors and 2 whole classes of people. Then, I just stop talking, I guess that's all I had to say. Then the professors ask questions, and then I start answering them. I actually started geeking out for like 2 seconds when this happened, but no one thought anything of it. And I mean I was proper high, high as balls; high balls at that. So anyway, I get my grade, model and presentation
(architectural student) back and all A's MOFO's!!!!! I did the project in like 2 days, while high off my ass. It just comes out when I'm high. And during tests in high school and now in college, I don't study at all, don't even take notes just listen, and all I can get is B's. Lol. People get pissed as shit so I tell them smoke pot and they look at me weird but fuck it. Pot works, and if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
HOLY SHIT.....that's a lot, didn't know I was typing that all. Well for those who read it, THAAAAAAANKS!

Cannabis improves intelligence??
If I have a toke after a long lay off I get deeper access to my unconscious mind. Any things that are on my mind rise to the surface and solutions reveal themselves.

I don't think it relates to intelligence at all. U either have it or u don't. Being intelligent can mean many different things. Usually marijuana stimulates the brain, or the exact opposite. So u can have two different results. I find it helpful to learn things while high, and to do a lot of pre-thinking while stoned, when it comes to taking test and such its def. better to have a clear mind. I do a lot of abstract and creative thinking. For instance one of my main hobbies is R/c's, while researching and building things being high is great, and always gets me the best results. When it comes time to go fly my heli or planes, i def. need a clear mind so i don't dumb thumb it into the ground.

I don't think smoking weed makes you any smarter. It does seem to help me make intuitive leaps and that often helps me solve a problem that seemed more complicated than it was. If you are learning new material, however, the side effect of the loss of short term memory can cause you to forget much of it.

Yet we decide which is right
and which is an illusion

I've been smoking pot, steadily, for 43 years ... I've tested, and qualified for membership in Mensa four times, over those years ... the last time, I took the test while VERY high :stoned: ... I finished the 4-hour-allotted test in less than an hour, went outside to smoke another doobie, while waiting for the test to time out ... most others took the full 4 hours, and a few didn't finish in time (only 2 of us qualified, out of roughly 25) ... as always, my score was a bit lower than my previous tests :wtf: ... it is likely due to aging, in fact, some Mensa members are demanding us 'old farts' have to re-qualify occasionally, to make up for our rotting minds (young, know-it-all assholes
) ... every test scores a bit lower than the previous one, I am truly getting dumber
... but, I'm usually well medicated, and, the cannabis likely puts off Alzheimer's, so who gives a rat's ass ? :S2:
