Cannabis improves intelligence??
Hey Guys,
I was trying to solve some number sequences and spatial awareness exercises because a have a test comming up for a job interview.
I first tried the easy test and got 5 out of 8.
Of course I got bored after a while and the obvious thing happened
After that I tried the medium test and got 12 out of 13.
Seems to me I should smoke some more before I take the test
I wonder if it was a coincidence I would apriciate it if you could do the same and share the results
This is the one I tried Number Sequences | Fibonicci.com

Cannabis improves intelligence??
There is no doubt that marijuana has helped me take my education to the next level. I find it helps in any activity which requires critical thinking. Marijuana seems to help me open my mind to ideas and thoughts I probably wouldn't have while sober.

Cannabis improves intelligence??
Well... cannabis in fact improves several kinds of intelligence... i used it to get new insights while solving hard physics problems, or things that needed a lot of visual intelligence... also, once i did take an IQ test while high, and got a score 10 points higher (pun intended :jointsmile
than when i had taken an IQ test while sober... thats why i smoke lol! :rastasmoke:

Cannabis improves intelligence??
cannabis generally does not improve intelligence. But only in heavy users, the study I read defines heavy users as people who smoke 5 joints or more per week.
The reason I think alot of people think their smarter high, is because their brains still process at the same speed, but they question those computations more precisely because their high. And so will go over them again in their head. Basically your not smarter, your just less likely to make mistakes, if you think in this way, and double check yourself.

Well I've made up my mind.
I have to take the test tomorrow and I'm going for the sober approach.
Turns out I also have to talk to a shrink to determine my mental state :P
Ah who am I kidding, I'll probbably be more relaxed after a small one in the morning

I've found in smallish amounts it can help with creative inspiration (artwork and design ideas) and some forms of problem solving - especially abstract (planning, writing code etc). But this is only really with Sativas.
But getting really blazed never helped me that much - after a while I would zone-out a bit too much.
and I agree with psychocat
