    will uvb lights?? for terrarium/ reptiles *pics*

    will these lights work??? there super bright and have a pretty low wattage. and they hve uv rays which are natural to the plant correct?? im planning on using these and cfls.

    I think they will work, but not well. You say its low wattage, high wattage is better. Those with your cfls might produce some interesting results.

    I use 2 cfl UVB reptile bulbs and 1 30" t10 tube in my grow. 1 cfl and the tube are 10% UVB and one cfl is 5%.

    I saw results in my flower girls within 3 days! More trich production, and interestingly, tiny petiole leaves turning away from the UV light sources!

    UVB, IMO, is the missing link to flowering under fluorescents.

    I use an 8 tube (with 6 bulbs) T5 4' fixture with red bulbs and the above uv bulbs. A friend likened my bud to that grown under 600w HPS. good, tasty, frosty. Just not quite as tight buds as I would have gotten with more red in spectrum.

    I will say that after six months of flowering under them, the bulbs NEED replaced. They light, they're bright, but the power is fading..... fading...... fadi............................
