    Need help starting.

Im growing in the SE United States area OUTDOORS . What am i supoze to do after germinating ? I have heard to put it in paper cups with holes in bottom or use the starter kits. I also heard you need Humus, Soil, Five sand with a bit of organic fertilizer, and water mixed in about 1 week before planting. Is that what your suppoze to do or is there any other way ? I really want a simple way to do it but if this is correct can you explain to me how to do that ? How do I get the PHC level to 7 or a little less ? Thanks for your help.

You can put the germinated seeds, into soil fresh soil now. Paper cups with holes are perfect. I don't know about hummus though. I just use a good quality fert free garden soil mixed with 30% pearlite. For a PH of 7 you need a PH testing Kit. But the soil I spoke of should have a stable low PH. You should not be using any ferts until your plant has 5-7 nodes. But I sometimes use a root stimulator.

You can get a PH testing kit rather cheap, but it wont give you an exact PH only a general range(you mix chemicals and compare colors to obtain a pH). You can get a digital PH tester for about 50 bucks and up. Once you have a PH testing kit of some kind you then need to buy a PH up and PH down. These are chemicals that will raise or lower your pH. You mix them in with you fertilized water until you have the pH you want.

If you want expert results get a digital pH tester. I have a Hanna pH/ec/tds water proof, it cost me 165 bucks. Non water proof units are cheaper. tds is total dissolved solids, or how much stuff is in the water. ec is the same thing just different units.

I think it is still to early to plant out side, in south east US, the plants will flower. Does anyone agree?

Also I once bought a pH tester / moister meter/ light meter. It was cheap like 8 bucks at home depot. I have no idea how accurate it is. Check out the picture.

its node, not nobe. and with questions like that, it seems that research would be your best friend. please don't mistake my comment as an attack. if you want to put time and effort into growing, you need to put time and effort into the knowledge behind it. there is a littany of information on growing our friend mary on this dandy little interweb. search, and you shall find.
