Hey all, just word from a good friend that owned a couple of dispensaries and has been federally charged and awaiting trial. It's good news. His lawyer believes that things are turning for him for the better in his case, it was recently moved back yet again, for about the 3rd time, and he is confident that part of the reason is recent political upheaval. He also believes that the letters that have been written to the AG and President on his clients/my buddy behalf have had impact. So I am simply asking you to write a courteous letter and show some support as well. Ask Obama and Holder why they continue to use federal funds to prosecute individuals in the state of CA that were legally operating under prop 215? Make it in your own words, no crappy templates here, just speak from the heart.

"Excerpt from my attorney:

Ronnie. Stacy (AUSA) is as confused as the Justice Department on this issue. He wants a continuance which can only help us by giving Obama's team a chance to promulgate policy consistent with the stated campaign position. My feeling is this will go away.

"So in essence the case is being continued from the original dates for sure. Iâ??ll follow up with the new dates of course. I just wanted to give everyone heads up so that appearances for the posted dates arenâ??t necessary since it will be continued.

Written letters to the US AG are helping tremendously and also to Barack Obama; prayers to all friends and victims for a favorable outcome.

THis is a guy that has an GPS tracker around his ankle and a curfew for the last year or so, and for the foreseeable future. He seems pretty damn positive, and I just ask that if you ever wanted to DO something, that you take this chance to DO just that! Whether you know some more detail specifically about Ronnie, or anyone else under federal prosecution, right there is where you need to write to. They may only read 1 out of a 100, but if 1000 people write in, that means they will have read 10 letters of support all wondering when the president, and the AG will hold true to their promise. It seems like a small thing, but sometimes it is the small things that work. Thank you for reading this post and your support!

that does sound like great news. :greenthumb: good luck Cali, btw the Pres is coming west next week back to my old stomping grounds of Southern Cal. I'm guessing we'll see him shooting some hoops somewhere in town.
