I'm a noob and my plants are dying! - Help please?

Hi, my babies are three weeks old and up until yesterday they were doing fine but now they seem to be getting worse by the hour. They are wilting and are turning yellow (and in some tiny spots brown). I have them in miracle grow seed starting/germination soil. I'm pretty sure that I over-watered them but I have no idea how to fix it Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. pics included. Thanks a ton.

Looks underwatered actually, what is your watering schedule? The MG soil could be killing off them young ones, it can be pretty hot for some strains.

You didnt add any fertilizer did you? Exactly what size are those pots? I would transplant into a new pot quality soil if I were you...Pro-mix is the shit might I add. Or Sunshine #4 depending on where you are. They can be found at any indoor grow supply shops.

I usually water them once every day and nah I haven't added any fertilizer yet. The containers are 3-inch jiffy cups. I decided to grow K2 because I had heard it did well in indoor conditions. I gave each of the plants a good watering (until the water leaked from the bottom). Hopefully this has a positive effect. Thanks for the help so far.

Once a day might be too much... They should dry out before you water again, or you could cause root rot. Do the leaves all perk up after you water them, or stay the same? If they perk up, it means they were thirsty. I water heavily once every three days, some only do it twice a week.

You might want to check the root ball also...

Sorry mate, but that MG soil has nutes in it. Most MG has weed killer in it too. They don't need anything for the first 2 weeks of life. The ferts are getting them. Try foxfarm or the dirt from your yard with some perilite next time.

Yeah the MG is not recommended for seedlings, but be careful if you use the dirt from outside, it could have some bugs in it...

jiffy pots suck, they're made from peat, which is too acidic for cannabis ... drench, and pH-test the runoff ... try not to overwater, keep temps down close to 75, if you can ... good luck :smokin:
