Designing a new strain for 2 week flowering

Anyways, I have been in a case of super thought for quite some time, and I am considering the possibility of breeding a faster growing/cycling photosynthetically sensitive hybrid of cannabis. This may sound bizarre to even the educated pharma and biochemists amongst us, but if you stop to think about Rating: 5why not checkout my redhair skunk, WhiteWidow, K2 grow : http://boards.cannabis.com/grow-log/...-grow-log.html

your 'two-week flowering' idea is pretty ridiculous, but it's your time and labor, go for it
...
also, RUDERALIS is bunk ... it's garbage ... anyone that says they smoked 'potent' ruderalis (Lowryder, etc.), has obviously never smoked good bud ... sorry, I don't mean to rain on anyone's parade, but facts are facts ... spend the extra weeks, and grow GOOD cannabis, instead, you'll be glad you did ... don't take my word for it, read DJ Shorts' opinion:

good growing !

I think it's safe to say, nature has built-in requirements, and limitations ... regardless of what you do, a plant (like any living thing), can only metabolize 'x-amount' of nutrients, sunlight, etc. for growth and sustenance ... 'time' is required for each component to be used by the plant, just like anything else ... don't get me wrong, if something could be done like that, I'd be the first in line to praise it ... if this was achievable, we'd be turning out corn and wheat crops every 30 days ... it just takes longer, Mother Nature doesn't get in a hurry ... good luck, though

Wow, some very heavy and interesting ideas on this thread. I really don't know anything about breeding, but it seems to me that if you could figure out a way to cross breed with some other flowering plant that has a very short germination to flowering time that would be the way to go. Maybe some other fast growing and flowering weed :stoned:
