    Growing Nightmare!

terence mckenna would say that psychoactives (leary as well probably lol) have a profound effect on the ego and value systems of a human being.

    (mostly to positive effect)

Increased sex drive, increased accuity, etc,

Although they are usually refering to psilocybin in their research cannabis thc is a psychoactive component and must share some properties.

I'd argue that you're mind is screaming... rightly so since it's smooth operation was dependant upon THC to a degree.. or at least the lowered framework that it seems to setup/interupt as a neuro transmitter controller.

    my 5 cents i guess,

    get well

It's the same everytime. I go in, everything is fine, and I look and everything is dead. Not just dead, but dead and rotten! Usually I can control my dreams really well and silly as it sounds, when I sleep, usually I realize that I am dreaming, even if it is a bad one, I am usually aware that I am dreaming and turn it to my will. However these 2 were really Rating: 5

valerian root or if you can find it kava kava, both great for nightime relaxation.

    Growing Nightmare!

Well, again, got to sleep last night around 5, am.
Dream started out normal, not too intense, just a dream about using a washing machine, at my parents home, in their backyard, in a giant sandbox.
Hey, I said that it was not intense, not scary, didn't say it made sense!
Anyway, then it got scary. At first everything was ok like I said, then I woke up, let the dogs out, and when I went back to sleep is when it started to suck.
For the entirety of the rest of my sleep, it went like this.
I am in my car, my son is in his car seat. I have a big ass box that is somehow magically resting on the dashboard, completely obstructing my view of the freeway, on which I am driving insanely fast, and cannot slow down. Of course the whole time I am freaking out trying everything to move, and or just see around this box, that I have no idea why is there or what is in it! All the while my boy is reminding me that we are gonna crash if I am not careful! "NO SHIT!"
The best I can do is see the big cement divider things in on the side, and it seems that I am in some sort of construction zone. FUCK FUCK FUCK!!!! This goes on forever.
It doesn't end, I don't crash, just perpetual panic.
Finally I wake up. Sheets, soaked. Freezing my ass off as usual. I feel fine now, and was a little shook up for about 30 minutes, until I smoked my Marlboro Red, and dropped the kids off in the pool. But that was the latest and greatest. Although it was terrifying, it did not leave a negative nasty impression on me that lasted for most of the day as the previous ones have. So at least it wasn't as "potent".
The sweating and freezing part was still the same, but it does seem like it was not as deep impacting. So maybe that's a sign that they are loosing their effect. Hopefully!
Well that's it. Have a good night, sweet dreams.

^ yes, that reminds me I read somewhere (i'll post the link if i find it) to drink some warm coaco and eat a banana and yogart (i think) right before bed, they all have high levels of kava that help you stay asleep all night. :greenthumb:

i don't think dreams really mean anything but now that you've started  i really have to tell about this dream i had some years ago that was so real i, for a while, thought it had to mean something.

it was during the primary elections when McCain and Shrub were battling for the repub nom. i must have fell asleep watching the news or something but all of sudden John McCain and I are loading boxes of supplies into a sea plane, parked at the dock of this big nice cabin on some lake somewhere deep in my imagination. We probably don't say two words to each other just keep going up and getting more boxes and loading them into the plane. The we shake hands, he gets in the plane, taxi's out to deep part of the lake, takes off and circles back into the clouds. Then I see an explosion and debri falling. I run out dive off the dock into the lake and start swimming out then I woke up. It was sooo vivid and real that for a while I thought should I contact Mr. McCain and warn him not to pilot any sea planes or something. :stoned:

I had almost forgot about that dream until a few months ago right after the election when the news was showing some random Alaska shots as they talked about Sara Palin they showed this sea plane sitting at a dock by a lake cabin. I thought, yeah, maybe I should have given him a call.
