How huge of hits can you take?

I've been smoking (weed) for a long time, and I can smoke a hell of a lot in one sitting, but the thing is, I have no lung capacity. The size of hit I feel most comfortable with is a pull off a joint or a pipe hit, and the worst is when you're in a circle, the guy pulls out his enormous bong, and they load everyone a giant bowl that they're expected to clear.

On the other hand, I know people who can clear whatever's loaded for them without even a cough. Where do you stand?

i'm the same as you, my lungs just can't take it any more, never use to be like that, use to be able to take any hit comfortably, i must be getting old lol.

In my younger days, I could put a joint in a bong bowl and kill the whole thing in one hit. I wouldn't even attempt it with the quality of smokage I have now... Ultra Haze and daddys girl... that would be just flat dangerous.

I used to go for champ hits back in the day...since my older 20's, and when I started smoking kind, I dont bother with big ass chokers. Seems a nice enough hit to be able to hold for a while and not choke is a perfect hit. Waste a shitload coughing out a giant bong rip.....

I only use 10% lung capacity....(I save the other 90%, for emergencies)

I think it just depends on how good the weed is. Even on some good hydro Ill take a massive hit, but only one lol. Its pretty painful haha

i'm not sure why but I can take just about any size hit within reason. Could be the counter effects of my asthma which might make my lungs stronger, who knows.

All my friends say I always take the biggest hits they seen, probably helps that I did competitive swimming half my life :stoned:

I'm jealous of the guys who can clear a whole bowl in one bong rip. It takes me 2 or 3 big rips to clear one bowl. My lungs suck.
