I agree with all of the above. Next time put them in the small cubes until you see a few good roots, soak the larger cubes in ph 5.5 water with 1/4 strength bloom nutes before transplant, dont overwater is the key with rockwool.

subzero Reviewed by subzero on 04-13-2009. clone trouble, need help! im am two weeks in with these guys. half of them i cloned into peat pellets and half into rockwool cubes. in the last week the ones in rockwool have been turning yellow on the lower leaves, yet the ones in the peat look just fine, i have been misting the dome morning and evening with just water as the dome is drying up, no nutes. just yesterday i thought maybe the clones in rockwool are not getting any nutes but the others and getting something out of the peat. so i did a weak foliage spray of Rating: 5

hi i switched from rockwool cubes to root riot (rapid rooter) cubes 3 grows ago and have never looked back. imho they are faster, more reliable, come pre soaked in a sealed pack and are generally easier to use.but i am still quite a noob so maybe it's me thats improved (doubt that though lol). :jointsmile:
