The cops I meet tend to be the same as the public to a certain extent. A wide range of viewpoints on MMJ. The problem of course is police are in a position to persecute anyone they think is a crook.

My impression is that many LE officers do not see MMJ users as legitimate medical patients but instead as people who have found a loophole to be stoners. My hope is that we can establish an understanding with them that we are responsible citizens who are obeying the law.

My hope is that eventually all these federal programs, including the DEA will be taken to the US Supreme Court and found to be what they are. Unconstitutional. There is nothing in the constitution that allows any of these federal programs. According to the 10th Amendement its up to the states to decide if they want any of these programs.

Tenth amendment arguments are being made in California,but they do not have the documents to prove state and local officials have been Commandeered. They dont have Conant v Walters or Conant v McCaffrey,and all the interlocal agreements and such.I think they will lose without them. I have obtained the complete public disclosure trail showing our state being bribed with federal grants in exchange for being commandeered. Fat chance getting any non profit group to file anything in this state. They like the work the MMJ initiative brings in and they happen to represent entities that like the amount of money they are able to charge for MMJ.

Stautory arguments come first before constitutional arguments.That is why the current schedule for marijuana needs to be challenged on a state level.The state schedule I test is not being followed Marijuana no longer meets the criteria to be included in schedlue I.

Again no white night non profit group is going to force that battle anytime soon. I will have to do it when I can afford to.

I know one of the big debates in the law enforcement community is the "high" that is connected with the use of MMJ. If its fun, knock it off.lol We need to as a society to get over this concept that if it feels good it must be evil. The high is one of the most medically beneficial parts of the plant. Whats wrong with taking a medication that is benefiting you physically and also makes you feel good emotionally. Like Ron Paul says, We just need to get the federal thugs out of the business of morality.
