HELP - bud covered in soil.

A family member decided to do a little gardening next to my plants, and accidentally covered one of the lower buds, which happens to be about 1/4 of the plant with sand and soil. I've tried to dust it off, rinse with water... but cant manage to shake the sand off the sticky buds ;<

    any advice?

    Thanks in advance.

I was gonna say you could try using a blowing device or something to blast the sand out of the nugs but that'll probably send trichomes with it. My suggestion would be to make some honey oil with the bud/sand because the filtering process involved would prevent any sand from getting into the final product. That way atleast you'd still be able to take full advantage of what you've got.

when you cut the plant down just put the bud into clean water and get the mud off. I use water curing which is when i harvest i put all my fresh buds in cold clean water for 2 to 3 days and then dry as normal. It makes your smoke so much nicer and i know its weird but they seem to dry faster. If your worried just try it with a tiny bud.
