90% alcohol, shake in different directions, empty, hot water with dish soap, shake again, empty, hot salt water, shake, empty, rinse good, dry. That is what I've always used for glass of any type. The only other suggestion might be trying pipe cleaners while you're on the hot soapy water step. I have spoken with real glass piece blowers and they are very against boiling because of different toxic particles that can harm you. I don't know the exact science , just that you shouldn't do it.
