Hello

This is my picture guide about how I clone new plants and take care of them.
I have a 2*2 area under a 125W CFL for clones and there I have a 20 plant aeroponic cloner + space for my bonzai mothers.

The mother in this guide is a White Widow with proven genetics but I am in the process of making a Papaya into a bonzai as well now.
My WW-mother gives about 25 clones every 2 weeks and is normally the sizer of a handball but when she grows together too much she gets a hard trim. That happens every 3 months or so.

Lets get down to buziness:

WW mother after a HARD trim:

Same mother as she normally looks.

Papaya getting some bondage done to her.

Clone area:

Clone about to get cut. I save two point of new growth below the cut but above the lowest level I decided to cut to secure future growth from the branch in question on the mother. The cut is never at an angle on the mother to make her mend faster:

New clone:

Clone gets cut into a better size, now with an angeled cut, I always keep minimum 2 spots from which the clone can start growth to be sure:

I cut of about this much branches from the clone and also cut the surface of the clone on two sides to make them grow more roots:

Clone ready to transplant, I normally root them mediumless but it happens I put them straight into coco or jiffies as well. Natrually I use rooting formula on every clone first, I use liquid:

That's it folks.
Now show your way and what setup you use, if any, to take care of babies.
