    Maylar + room

I've had some good yields from only covering the walls halfway up with maylar and each yield has been brilliant.

But question I wanted to ask, as it's been put across to me why I don't cover the whole room in maylar. Now my answer to this is heat and light burn, but what do people here think.

Q:Is it good covering the whole room, or can it have side effects?

I reckon the more light that you reflect back onto your babes the better.

The scientific truth is that flat white paint reflect's better than mylar.
Put that in your pipe an smoke it awhile.

so tell me... wuts the problem with tin foil... i herd that it has wrikles in it that make light reflect in random directions, but what if you dont bend the foil at all and its perfectly flat?

I've seen hotspots in milar and aluminum reflective material-- they usually happen near where a plant is set near a bunch of wrinkles. If it's all you have or all you can find and/or all you can afford, go for it. However, plan to upgrade as you can afford.

Take a look at Panda Film (black on outside, white on inside) white side in, no light leaks.

Personally, I use 1/2 inch foam insulation with aluminum exterior (not the white styrofoam insulation). Great way to make a mini-closet or close in a wire rack like I did for my vegg closet. $10 a 4x8x1/2 sheet, cut to fit, tape with duct tape.

I bought the 2x4x6 wire rack with 3 shelves at a commercial restaurant supply in the used basement (Roses Restaurant supply in Portland) -- $65

White is better reflective. Next time I'll paint the paper side white.
