Smokes Reviewed by Smokes on 02-01-2006. glass pipe hey im gettin my glass pipe in a few days, and ive never used one. Don't mean to sound dumb, but do glass pipes come standard with a choke? When do you hold the choke and when do you let go? Does the glass help to cool down the smoke a lot as opposed to a metal pipe? I've only used metal before when it comes to everything ive smoked, is there a major difference? thanks Rating: 5

Most pipes have carbs, because the system of a smoking pipe wouldn't work nearly as well without it.

hey man. me and my friends have a couple of those and we just clean them by letting them sit in boiling water for a while. They never break and it cleans it pretty good. Here we call the hole to clear the pipe a "toke".

Does this actually work?

I recently bought a small, glass pipe and I'm curious about what the best way to use and care for it. I've seen some people put tin(?)-foil in the bowl then the weed on top.

Any suggestions?
