Support from above
hey I was thinking (uh oh). I can supply support to my plants from above via a little device that people often put keys on that pulls a string into itself. Hanging this device above the plant and gently wrapping around the stem a couple of nodes down. I'm trying this, I'm not sure what it will do but it provides strong support to the main stem hopefully leading to higher yields. Any comments?
There has been one little problem...you have to be very very careful not to inadvertently hit the virtually invisible line. I hung a flag on it to remind me.

Yeah they have something like that in my local hydro shop they have a plastic hook on the end they work OK.
They are good if you have heavy buds to prevent the branches from falling over and breaking.:stoned:

These things cost about a buck and pull from the top. Good support for the main stem. Ya just don't want to execute your plants by accidentally hitting it hard to rip or damage the tissue. After all, its an innocent plant. Thanks. MH

They do work but take care with them as some of them have enough recoil to put your eyes out.
