Yeah, I wish they'd post things revealing the real stuff, like that that man isn't Saddam Hussein but one of the probably 10 doubles they have of him and it was all a well-timed/calculated stunt designed to garner support for the war on terror and Iraq occupation. Nothing about that event strikes as even remotely true. If the Saddam capture really were authentic, we'd have gotten more than a few seconds of footage of him being searched and a few photos of him being pulled out of a "spider hole" (a spider hole, of all places... don't forget the Mars bars and Dove soap etc. they found him with), which, strange enough, look remarkably posed, and then never hear about or see him again.

But I keep forgetting things like like that are impossible to pull off; the media isn't controlled nor can they hire actors to make up and say things on their behalf.

The bigger the lie, the more people tend to believe it...

I'm practically speechless after reading that.

The point isn't that Saddam is my hero or that I'm trying to help his image or that he prevented himself from being shot at by surrendering to the troops. I'm saying that the whole thing was staged with the use of a double, and it doesn't take much discernment to see that possibility given the nature of the government and how badly Bush needed/needs public support, as well as the way it was reported in the media (it is reminiscent of a movie the way things just seem to fall in place, with first Saddam's sons being captured and soon after Saddam at Christmas time... they'll probably end up capturing Zarqawi first and subsequently capture Bin Laden months to a year later). I don't like Saddam at all, but whoever that bum is that they "captured" -- that's not him.

Right, let's just not think about the reasons for war or all the strange circumstances surrounding and leading up to it; let's ignore all the lies... war "just happens" and we have to accept what the god-like men in power decide is best for the world, and that people don't even have the intelligence to resolve conflicts without the use of high tech weapons and murdering tens of thousands of people. Or maybe it's just an ignorant population that can't pick up on the fact that their leaders are bloody servants of SATAN who don't give two craps about human life, and are lying about practically everything they endeavor.
