Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but is it strange that it has 2 hps bulbs for both Veg. and Flower? I was under the impression that hps are not generally used for vegetative growth

more and more people are using HPS (high-pressure sodium) throughout the lifespan of the plant ... supposedly, using a HPS in vegetative growth phase will stretch the plant a bit more, but mine seemed about the same, as under the metal halide ... ?? ... :smokin:

The second bulb is a MH conversion bulb.

That is a good package deal for the money....:thumbsup:...it's a UL rated, 60Hz, 400 watt HPS magnetic ballast with a HPS bulb and a MH conversion bulb. Can't tell if it comes with the necessary cords?

Yeah it looks like a cheap setup but at a good price. Depends on how much they gouge you for shipping.
I've got friends that use hps for the entire grow. They seem to do very good.
