indica vs. sativa
most of the pictures i see from users on this site are indica type plants.
my question to you peeps is.................
are indica plants easier to grow indoors than sativa?
right now i am trying to save a plant my mom started. she was using a plain 100w daylight bulb with no set schedule and regular soil (what a dummy)
so i switched up the soil and have a little grow box made with 2 42w CFL's running 24/0
ill show you the difference in them.
the first 2 pictures are of the plant on march 2
the others are of the new set-up
it already shows signs of recovery and i just changed the setup yesterday
sorry for the color the lights are on(SUPER BRIGHT) the leaves are a lime green color and thin so i am thinking this is a sativaheyitsmeallen Reviewed by heyitsmeallen on . indica vs. sativa most of the pictures i see from users on this site are indica type plants. my question to you peeps is................. are indica plants easier to grow indoors than sativa? right now i am trying to save a plant my mom started. she was using a plain 100w daylight bulb with no set schedule and regular soil (what a dummy) so i switched up the soil and have a little grow box made with 2 42w CFL's running 24/0 ill show you the difference in them. the first 2 pictures are of the plant on Rating: 5

indica vs. sativa
Indicas are a little easier because they have short flowering periods and short in stature. Some sativas can take over 4 months just for flowering, and get 30ft. tall. MOST of the stuff you see around the boards here is a hybrid, a mix of both. Some are more indica heavy, some more sativa heavy, and 50/50. Still a little early to tell on your plant, but its probably one of these hybrids. No way to tell how long for flowering or how tall this will get at this point (Probably won't know until its last week when the trichs get cloudy)
Nice to see you have the new light setup. Good luck:thumbsup:

2 cfls should be enough until flowering...of course you could add a few more in a week or two and make it even better as long as you can evacuate the heat

I think thats ok for now, see what happens in a week. Then if things are going good, you could get a couple Y socket splitters and 2 more lights at least (same wattage or more). Once you flower, add a couple more... the more the better.
Do you have a fan for air circulation? I don't know how stable the plant is at the moment, but eventually you should introduce some kind of fan. This will strengthen the plant's main stalk and get it fresh air. You could put the fan blowing on the lights if they are too hot.
