I would water once when the light comes on then wait too see how long after that they start too wilt. this will let you know how often you need to water.

Over watering will make the leave's yellow with necrotic (brown) spot's.

Under water an the plants will go limp and wilty.

How do you know if my babies are getting too much? I am so worried of root rot. What are the signs of root rot? What are the signs of over or under watering? I am new at this.
