im kinda new to this an have a a bowl but find it inconvenient to lug it around, but living in southern georgia there are not too many peeps to turn to for advice, SO HOW DO I ROLL A JOINT? how much weed do i put in, a nick? last time a tried the whole joint just caught on fire and burned, what now?

to tell you the truth, i have only tried once, and was in a drunken/high state, which of course ended badly. once you get it, its not hard to do i hear, and this site helps. How to Roll a Joint it'll tell you what you need and then some. how much weed you use is up to you, and slightly depends on the size of your papers.

Its all in the tuck. when you make your first roll, if you get your tuck correct then you will roll a correct joint everytime, its when you cant get a roll that the papers just slide around and a loose, badly rolled joint is smoked.

If you're rolling-challenged like myself- I've tried several techniques over the course of about 5 years, and nada- invest in a rolling machine. You can get these at head shops, cigar stores, and some gas stations/7-11s. They are a lifesaver!

my best advice would be to go on to youtube and search for it. There are numerous videos there teaching how to roll anything from a perfect dubey to a cross joint.

yeah, some people find that putting a roach in the end of your joint helps you roll better too. not really my method but it does work for others so maybe try that, it does help it keep a more even roll. and the rolling machines work too, but get a legit one, they are usually still less than 20 i believe, but the little plastic ones are too small and dont work as well. some people practice with rolling tobacco because it has a similar rolling capabilities and if you smoke you get some nice hand rolled cigs. or you could use any ground up leafy thing, the classic fake pot in a bag trick with oregano would work for rolling practice, just dont smoke them. practice practice practice.

i agree the tuck is so important:thumbsup: practice makes perfect, buy some cheep tobacco and use that to practice with.imo thin rolling papers are slighty harder to roll than thick papers, but thin papers are the way to go:jointsmile:

bah what do you need a roller for? i taught myself how to roll perfectly in 30 minutes, when i 15. you have to sit down with at least a gram and a pack of zags and just try and practice over and over till you get it.

hold the paper as far to the end as you can with either hand. (the paper is purposefully folded and gummed on the correct side) Put as much as you can onto the paper (which is still in your hand) most of my joints are around .8: but your probably going to need more because a lot will fall out during the whole process when you are just beginning to learn. SO, with the weed in/on the paper, pinch the two sides together and start trying to compact the weed into a straight, somewhat tight, line. using your thumbs to roll the papers up and down to shape the joint. o ya the gum is on the far side of the joint. After everything is compacted and not going anywhere, this is when you tuck. take your thumbs and roll the un-gumed end under the other end of the paper, and before you roll it all the way up, lick the gum very lightly and seal that bitch up! Fin.

the gum on most papers is sugar based, which means that if you wet it too much via too much licking/saliva, the sugar will go away, leaving you with no stickyness.

O ya, dont be retarded and roll your first few times standing up or moving or some shit. sit down at a chest height table, put a magazine underneath where you are trying to roll, and make sure your fingers are not tooo sticky if you break up your own weed. I only say all this because i have met some Stupid ass people in my life, and apparently they didnt think of these things. peace
