I think that they had to change the name for legal reasons, (maybe Apple did a bit of arm twisting), but they ARE working on a new and improved version. It is currently in beta being field tested and is not on the market yet.

They started beta testing the last week in February, but I really don't have a handle on when they plan to market a new and improved model. They are still getting in-field input and suggestions for changes from members at that "other site", so it could be awhile.

I'll put in inquiry in and get back to ya as soon as I get an answer.

No I said don't hotlink it, you can mention it but don't hotlink it. That's just common sense don't you think. It's obvious that this isn't the only online forum but do you really think that you need to be told not to hotlink. It's like going into a restaurant and walking around advertising for another restaurant while you're waiting for you food to come. No hotlinks to other forums. No commercial hotlinks either. Example, you see a ballast you want opinions on. Tell the address but don't hotlink it. Got it. You weren't even penalized about it.

Well truth be told, I'm giving this V Tower Extreme to a friend for a birthday present in 9 days. They have cancer and never thought about vaporizers until seeing mine. MJ helps them sleep and eat during treatments n with the side effects of other meds. I wanted to try it out a few times before I clean and wrap it up. My friend vaped out of it today but little do they know it's going to be theirs.

That person has a good friend in Fourtwenty. That's awesome. :thumbsup:

Ok, but I gotta ask you a question, and PLEASE don't think I'm being a dick about this. I totally understand that I am in YOUR house and if I'm gonna be allowed to stay here, than I must be able to play by your rules. I have no problem with that.

But I'm just trying to understand something here. When it really comes down to it, if you're not going to allow hot linking, then why allow one to "tell the address". The end result is the same, no. Either one clicks the hot link or one does a cut and paste on the address. I'm not trying to be argumentative. Just trying to understand the logic.

Either way, I will abide by your rules.

I do realize that this is a commercial site being that you have ad banners and such. The FC site is NOT a commercial site, so there really isn't any reason to send anyone over there, except one, and that would be to be able to offer up information to people that they may not be able to get here and that ONLY applies to vaporizers, being that that site is a dedicated vapor site targeted at vapor hobbyists and the vapor industry. Believe me, the LAST thing that I would want to do is to steal away any of your members. I have no reason to do that. I was just trying to be helpful and guide them to a place where they could get answers and reviews that was not available here.

Anyway, thanks for listening to the banter. I'm not trying to make your job harder, man. Just trying to understand the hot-linking versus address thing.
