    old fridge Grow box?

    Heyallen,

Thats a nice find! Depends on what you want to do with that... I think its a perfect veg chamber, but it could be used for flowering too.

I hope you don't plan on using it anymore... cuz its gonna need a couple holes. Once towards the top for exhaust and another one at the bottom on the opposite wall from the exhaust(preferably this way for best air flow). Use some kind of a fan for the exhaust to pull the air out of the box, IDK if a computer fan would be enough.

Again, your end-setup will depend on your lighting, and environment outside the fridge, number of plants, etc...

If I was in your shoes, I would make those air holes, buy two computer fans (one for the exhaust, and another one for the plant). Then, at least 4 42w cfls for that one plant, kept at 2 inches away from the plant at all times, so they will have to be adjustable somehow. Start with something like that (maybe someone else has other ideas...).

Shouldn't cost too much. I bought a 12V computer fan and 12.5V phone charger (just connect the wires and plug into the wall), used for 3.50â?¬ at a second hand shop. Lights and Y socket splitters you can get from walmart, home depot, (assuming you are from the states).

Thanks! I was thinking of mounting a few small florescent tubes on the sides and the back. I think this box would be perfect because of the shelving inside I can move the plant up or down as I please. I could use more input from other members too!
