just to let everyone know... a 1/16 where i live goes between 25 bucks and 30 bucks through whoever you go through (we're talking high quality bud).... but i'm going to get my ass kicked if i don't get this guy his money back.... talk about getting fucked over....

Ive been through this before too. When I was younger I worked at a golf course and a new guy gets hired in maintenance. After being around him a few times I found out he smoked. He smoked a few times with me another guy and we all get along really good.
Some time later the three of us begin talking about getting weed and he tells us he knows a good place to get it. To make a long story short, we drive over to a certain part of town and he asks me to pull into this gas station. The dealer lives in the apartment complex across the street. The guy runs across the street and never comes back. I drove through that complex for an hour with no sign of him. Since we worked at the same place I knew he'd have to face me the next day.
One thing he failed to tell me that day was that he had been fired from the golf course that afternoon. I snuck into my manager's office and found his application. The number he had listed wasnt even connected, and the address he listed didnt even exist.
No, Im not saying he went to the trouble of getting that shitty job just to rip me off of $50, but it was frustrating to be looking for someone with no leads to go on.
The only thing we knew for sure was that he lived in a little town about 15 miles north of here called Ware Shoals. Its been years, and Ive never seen that guy around
Im still mad about it somewhat to this day, but I learned a few lessons, and Im sure this guy got his. Either in jail or too poor now to even afford to smoke one hit.
So I learned to spend more time getting to know a person who may be messing with my money. And these days, I dont let the money get out of my sight until I see the green of the weed. I really dont trust the middle-man situation anymore either.

dude i feel your pain. normally i wouldn't condone violence, but it gets ridiculous when you get jacked for some smoke. i always thought we could at least come together with the smoke, but i guess even that's not sacred. good luck b.

thanks for everyone's support... I know the apartment complex where this guy lives now (just not the exact apartment) and I should be out of dangers way (as it's my buddy who got ripped off more than me, 25 bucks isn't too big of a deal... but 330 dollars most certainly is)... if they can't find this guy then my normal dealer who referred him to me is going to get his ass kicked. (not that it's his fault, but who gets hurt is really out of my control now).... it sucks i got ripped, but i did learn a valuable lesson about trust. no more money till I see the green anymore.... and my buddy has some pretty psycho friends so i honestly wouldn't be surprised if they killed both of them....
