duct tape toxicity question, i guess...
the slide for my bong fell on the floor, breaking it cleanly at the part where the tube part meets the bowl part. currently i have duct tape on the outside holding it together, but I was wondering if it might be toxic to heat up the duct tape that much while smoking. does anyone have a clue?

duct tape toxicity question, i guess...
yeah hope that the glue in it isnt poisonous or turns into an abrasive acid as a gas.. lol I'm sure you'll be fine heh you're not actually exposed to inhaling the duct tape as you use your bong are you? If you are the answer to this question could be kinda simple if you can taste bad things there is a high probability you're inhaling some noxious fumes... that said there are some chemicals agents that aren't readily detectable by our senses.. be careful it's not like you're using nerve gas to fix your bong

thanks for the input:thumbsup: the duct tape is never in direct contact with the smoke or the flame, so hopefully everything is aight.

I wouldn't be too concerned about it, but you're smart for being cautious ...

yeah, i dont think there is anything to worry about either. though i would try to find a replacement, or a more permanent and safer alternative, but its not a rush, just something you may want to consider
