    Trichome and High Preferences

Ok, so there are many debates that I have read throughout my search on the World Wide Web and a lot of people have different times/ways they decide to harvest. So I guess my question to everybody is....

QUESTION1 What do you prefer in trichome cloudy/amber ratio?

QUESTION2How do you like your high? The "couch lock" or the uplifting high? And why?

I'm sorry if these type of questions have already been asked, but I couldn't find it, so I decided to post my own thread to find out the opinions!

valid question. it depends on the plant for me...... i grow many small plants ( two different phenos of dr. atomic Norther Lights) ill cut some down after 55 days flowering, 60, 65 days and so on to find out what the plant has to offer at different times in her life. *my preference is about 80/20 cloudy/amber*......im a day smoker so i dont like it to be too couch lock, but i also smoke a lot at night:jointsmile: so i will use my two different phenos throughout the day to even out the feeling, so to speak.

if its a completely new plant ill decide whether its more indica or more sativa.....indicas i always give at least 55 days to flower, sativa AT LEAST 70 days flower.

There's no reason to harvest all the plants at the same time...usually.

If, 3 or more plants?...harvest one 'early'...the next 'prime time' ...the other one...'late'. Then, you know what you like best.

this info...will come in handy...for your next harvest...enjoy

I agree with Dutch Pimp. I have never had a grow, that the entire crop was ready at the same time. Not even on accident. I gave-up trying years ago. But like he said, tiz a good way to get to know your strains.

My indica doms, I let go till the first signs of rusty trichomes appear. Good night-time couchlock. More difficult to function in a social setting, but great for severe mellowing-out. More of a sedative effect.

My sativa doms, I harvest those slow-pokes when 90% or so of trichs are cloudy. A lighter buzz allowing social interaction without the forgetting of your name. More of a "wow...look at the lights" kind of effect.

    my experience?

early harvest = quick hitting, short high, extreme munchies

prime time harvest = longer high, very nice, watch a good movie

late harvest = couchlock, temporary polio...(my favorite)....:stoned:...sleep like a dead man
