hey dude I'm glad everything is back on track. When you say ridges do you mean like the natural pattern 'bulges' from some of the leaves? If so that is normal in a vegetating/flowering plant.

Yeah genes will vary each plants leaf formation course, but i think you knew that at the back of your head already!
