    Would this work?

would it be possible to instead of growing 1 normal-big size plant inside a 22 gal rubbermaid tub grow box, that seems to be so popular,.... grow 3 small plants SOG style (but not really SOG because its just 3)?

would 3 plants fit? or is that just asking for too much.?

    any info would be great!

maybe asking for too much... can you fit 3-5 gallon pots in there?

I have seen it done with clones before like six of them I think. I would definetly transplant them into the 22 gal. rubbermaid early into flowering, this way they won't straggle each other to death with their roots.

Honestly, I don't have any experience, just from what I've seen with the clones and common sense. They have to get pretty rootbound to die and it also varies from strain to strain, some can take it, other can't. I doubt they would max out a 22 gal. if you put them in right before flower say...a week to let them adjust.

well i was thinking putting in 3 clones in separate pots in the rubbermaid growbox. 18-6 for a week and a half and then 12-12 for the rest.

i was just wondering if 3 little plants was too many for that space.

Shouldn't be, I'll see if that thread is still around.

    they might be.

remember, the plant size effectively doubles after switching 12/12

If you want to risk maybe having to cut things off, you can try it. Remember you can split and do some LST also.

I just started a grow in a rubbermaid box, but i'm flowering 6 from seed right away.

    Good luck man
