I've never used coco, but i've seen plants grow from clone to harvest in regular soil using 16 oz (20oz cut down) pop bottles. this was a SOG cfl method, and the results were great. Weed is just that, a weed, and from what i've read, it can pretty much thrive in most situations. i'd say go ahead and try, the worst that can happen is you have to transplant, right?

I was by the hydro shop and I asked the guy if you can grow in coco and use smaller pots and he said no. Now ive seen people grow normal sized plants in quarter gallon gatorade bottles using coco. can someone please explain? I dont want huge ass 5 gallon containers filling all my space up. Rating: 5
