Shov's Grow Log 2/2009
Though hardly second string... since the Mazar had not germinated very well at all I refilled five of the pots and started five NCDG. So, four separate strains, I'd like to finish at least one female of each, two would be better.
ShovShovelhandle Reviewed by Shovelhandle on . Shov's Grow Log 2/2009 Premier Page. I've had a few logs here in the last couple of seasons. I learn a lot by research and a lot by people on this site chiming in. I've gotten some better ideas about keeping a log or journal too. In the past I kept a half assed (stoner) sheet of papers called 'grow journals'. What was on the grow log wasn't in the journal, and vice versa. This will be no different I'm guessing, but I'm going to try to include stuff in the grow log like feeding menus and schedules,LST or Rating: 5

Awesome ratio on for the BB and SSH. Too bad about the Mazar. So is NCDG available anywhere or are they your private collection? I would love to try it indoors and out. Lovely strains tho, should be interesting in a few months. I'm so ready for spring/summer, can't wait.

Well, the SSh were very fragile and two died of stem rot in the first two days. Still I hope for at least one fem. The other plants are looking good, except the soil looks a little 'hot' as I have a little brown on the tiny leaf tips already. Should be ok but I'm ready to transplant if necessary.
I don't know where NCDG available, it was gifted from a local.

just curious, that's a wonderful gift. sucks about ssh already but i can imagine them being very fragile since the seed size is tiny. good luck with this...the lil sprouts are looking nice.

Shov, I just bought and germed 2 feminized Ice seeds which are also small seeds....only one has germinated so far.......coincidence or do you find small seeds have more issues?

It seems that healthy looking seed that is stored well usually have no problems. I don't like to see tiny seed or light (green) colored seed.
The seedlings are all doing fine. I'll try and pop the other five NCDG when the weather warms up so I can control the soil temp more easily. I also have a gift of C99 and NCDG x (forgot) beans to grow out next round. I'm very excited about all these new seeds/seedlings.

small seeds have always been iffy IMO. their either pops or duds. but i've noticed haze strains are usually always smaller than others. c99xncdg? wow i would love to try that. it would be marvelous to see that in bloom
