    What Happened?

    Hey All!!!!

I was gone for the crash, now I'm back for the great information I get here.
    What do I find?
    Advertisements for delivery service!!!
    Is this now acceptable?

    Mickeymoscow advertises without shame!!
Gypski advertises like he wants to help with his Co-op, " which is not legal in the state of Washington ".

Is this what this forum has become?
    What has happened?

The whole medical marijuana topic is just on the edge and if this kinda advertising is now acceptable, I'm afraid, it could just push it over.
If your short handed drop me a line. I will be happy to volunteer and there are plenty of names I would refer to help moderate.

    Thanks For Your Time!!

    What Happened?

To be perfectly honest, we're all a little in the dark on this one. If you could help us out and give us links to where you see these ads for delivery service it would be much appreciated. I do know there was a spammer who posted the same MoM line 11 times recently, but that has since been dealt with. Again, sorry for not having any more info. I wish I knew more myself.

    What Happened?

When IAP said we're all in the dark, if he means we don't know the Washington laws well, then that includes me.

Back around October 2008 Sundance decided he would let the co-ops and dispensaries (mainly in California) post their info and menus. He said he was going to fine tune the rules for them and probably make a different user group for them (I guess so that they would have a title other than registered+ to signify they were a legit dispensary and not something else) but he hasn't done that yet.

Me and IAP both saw the m.o.m guy as that was easy to see he was breaking every rule since he was from New York.

I read "still here" and I'm confused as to what Gypski is doing wrong. Are co-ops illegal in Washington? I read some of the laws and after my initial reading I'm still confused. Where does the medical marijuana come from? The patient's one caregiver who I guess grows it and provides the patient??? I think it said no dispensaries so I guess no co-ops?

Adding some west coast flava to the moderation team has been talked about before but many of our members from the medical states for one reason or another have turned down offers to be made moderators. I'll remember your interest the next line up change or addition.

maybe you aren't finding potential Moderators, willing to hang their ass out in public as potential DEA targets, for FREE ... there's always been a dedicated group of Moderators here, working for FREE ... they deserve a lot of thanks , (but, 'thanks' don't pay for the groceries, or lawyers) :smokin:

ok i just talked to my buddy who is a WA state medical marijuana patient..

the WA state law is that u can use marijuana for medicinal reasons if prescribed by a approved doctor...

u pay 200 bucks for the actually weed card...my buddy who has one is allowed 15 plants...but i just asked him and he says he is not sure that 15 is the set limit...some people may be eligible to grow more...

the way the co-ops in WA state work is they will get one guy to grow for like 5 card holders...they all pitch in and grow a large quantity so that other medical users can come and get their weed form the co-op also...

co-ops are basically for card holders that dont want to grow pot...

Co-ops are NOT legal here in Washington yet. It was something that should have been included in the last revamp but wasn't. In Washington there is NO legal place to purchase MJ. The closest you can come is to have a caretaker grow for you. Only a total of 15 plants and 24 ounces of cured MJ. But there is a bit of a loophole for growing more. It says that if you medically need more you can grow more and sets no limits and doesn't spell out whether it requires a doctors authorization to grow more. So we are still in a bit of a mess here in Washington.

    What Happened?

I received a private comment about posting some real information. If the memorandum from the King CDounty prosecutor isn't real information straight from the horse's mouth I don't know what is.

If the Washington State Medical Law is applied differently in every county, its either the residents of that county's fault for not demanding equal treatment. Afterall, the whole state knows it was the King County votes that made Medical Marijuana possible, and this is illustrated in how medical marijuana is regarded in the rest of the state, while tolerated here. If you have a problem with that, grow up, the adults are running the show.

What is need is more tolerance of people who are ill and medical marijuana works for them. Less persecution and presecution, and more tolerant attitudes around that state is what's needed.

And lastly, those who don't like the way its done here in King County, all I can say its not my fault you live in a less tolerant area of the state. And I intend to follow the guidelines set out by the King County prosecutor. We have to take the person at his word don't we?
