    My Opinion on Obama

I've always had a certain dislike of most politicians mainly because they tell people what they want to hear so they can achieve power. (In my opinion) I honestly don't think Obama is any different than the other 43 presidents this nation has had other than the fact that he is half black. It's not that I have anything against Obama I just believe that an insanely huge factor in him winning the presidential race was that he was half black and shouted "change" which is what people want to hear. A lot of my friends voted for Obama, and when I asked them why, most replied "I want things to be different" but when I asked what they thought Obama was going to do to enact change they were at a loss for words. Just seems like a poor reason to vote for the person that's leading the nation. But then again, I guess most people vote blindly...

Anyone else feel the same way?

I think that accept for the Half-Black part you described every presidential race that I have ever borne witness to.

    My Opinion on Obama

Yeah so far ir seems he's just another liar. I'm sorry for the black people. I was hoping he would really make a difference and give the black people somebody to be proud of.
But he said he was going to close gitmo as soon as he got in, that didn't happen. He said he was going to get us out of Iraq, that ain't happening, instead we're sending them to Afghanistan. He said he'd fix the economy, That ain't happening. Just more of the same.

Those are all huge changes, huge changes don't come about in a couple of months. Don't get me wrong though, I'm not pro-Obama.

yeah,I can see that,Im from hawaii and I got freinds who voted and said " we gotta get a local boy up in there!"
I think, thats how things are nowdays......if it looks good we'll invest in it. Take mighty puddy for example, that billy mays guy made it seem like it was the Shet! I bought it.....So junk! Lose Money!
Hopefully Obama wont dissappoint as much as mighty puddy.
